Sure, I can rattle off a dozen restaurants, shops, and bars/breweries that are fantastic to visit, but you need to experience it yourself. Portsmouth is a year round place, there is a great mix of old and new, not just the architecture, but the culture as well. I choose The New Hampshire Seacoast to live because I love the fact that it has all my favorite things, from the beach and great spots to hike, to plenty of places to grab a bite or be entertained. If I didn't already live here, I'd move here myself.
Yes Portsmouth is amazing, but so is the entire Seacoast. Each town has their only special spots, from great parks, quaint downtowns, and specialty shops to art studios and live theatre.
